Dream!!!
say that DonaldBraswell can perform anything written for
the male voice.  Donald Braswell is one of those rare
singers who performs with PASSION, regardless of
language. Even when he's not singing in English, you
don't have to understand the language to understand the
song because his voice tells the whole story.  In fact, he
never just sings a song; he breathes life into every single
song by performing it from his heart and soul.  If the job of
the artist is to create, then every song that Donald has
ever performed has been a creation, a child whose beauty
can only be compared to her divine father.  And perhaps
"divine" is one of the only adjectives in the English
language capable of describing the vocalist who can sing
anything written for the male voice."

How Do Other Fans Describe Donald?
I must be the only person on this website who had never heard of the song "You Raise Me Up" before
Donald Braswell sang it on America's Got Talent.  I had never watched that show (in fact, I rarely watch
TV), but NBC did such a good job of publicizing that a singer had lost his voice for a long time and would
return to the professional stage on AGT that I felt compelled to watch on the promised date.  (I even
marked the date on my calendar.)  From Donald's first note, I knew that NBC and Simon Cowell weren't
leading us on.  When the song reached the higher key, Donald raised me up -- literally.  I almost jumped
off the couch with shock at the intense beauty of this man's voice and at the passion and emotion he was
sharing through the song.  Now I know that his songs are infused with such emotion because of the hell
he experienced during those years that he worked so hard and with such dedication to regain his voice.
Now that he miraculously has it back, we also know that he thanks God and the prayers of many who care
about him for his voice's return.  I believe with all of my heart that Donald and his singing have been sent
by God as a salve to a world that's sunken in war, hatred, distrust, ethical wastelands, ecological
disasters, cruelty, and faith in nothing.  His unworldly gifts raise us up.  They remind us of the beauty and
joy that are available to us if only we keep our hearts open to them.  Donald is on his way to greatness and
immortality because he believed in the possibility of a miracle.  One man absolutely can make a
difference!  Just watch as he soars!                                                         Barbara Evans, Glassboro, NJ

Donald Braswell has a voice like no one else I've ever heard!  From the moment I first saw him on
"America's Got Talent", I was a fan.  I could tell from the first note he sang that he had talent.  His
performance of "You Raise Me Up" was positively jaw-dropping!  But what clinched it for me was his
personality.  I could tell this was a man who genuinely cared about people, was a family man, and didn't
have an egotistical bone in his body.  He could've easily acted like he was above everyone else seeing as
he was an opera singer before his accident, but he didn't.  I don't care how talented a person is.  If they
don't have the personality to go with it, talent doesn't mean anything to me.  Donald Braswell has it ALL!
He is the most humble entertainer I've ever come across.               Traci, Berwick PA, USA

"From the first time I heard him sing and heard his story, my heart went out to him and his family. When I
heard him sing and saw his humility, my heart melted. When he sang "The Music of the Night" (after
having seen "The Phantom of the Opera" three times in L.A.) I actually cried, I was THAT moved. I KNEW
how much talent he had from the beginning and was totally shocked when he was voted out.  Then, when
I heard they were bringing back a wild card, I actually prayed that it would be him. When I found out that he
WAS the one, the emotional being that I am, I cried again ~ this time with joy. I really thought he would win.
He certainly had/has the talent for it! I knew that no matter what happened, he would continue with is
career and so he has. I could not be more thrilled. I am just hoping that he will one day tour in the L.A. area
where I would gladly go to hear him sing."                                            Jeannie, Camarillo, CA

"I have been his devotee since the beginning of AGT,but I became a TRUE Braswillian on the night of
October 17, 2008, when I had the opportunity to meet Julie and Don after the MGM performance. He is the
most genuine performer/person I have met; a man of exceptional talent, but no ego.  I believe that I have
the first autograph Donald gave after the MGM; first or not, I have one and I will always treasure it.  I have to
tell you that one of the reasons I was chosen to meet Donald after the MGM show was that I answered the
survey question: Considering the last three years of AGT, who are your top 3 performers?" I answered:
Donald Braswell, Donald Braswell, and Donald Braswell."               Patti, Las Vegas, NV

Donald rocked my world when I saw him on AGT & I voted for him faithfully every time I could. He is such a
beautiful man inside & out; his voice is stunning & amazing. He displays a wide range of versatility, as
shown in his Vegas show at the Hilton. I felt honored to be a part of that night! My husband & I both adore
DB & will be fans for life!  Donald has overcome HUGE obstacles & come shining through in an
astounding way; his love for music & for his fans is sincere. I return that love whole heartedly!!

My sister and I care for our 95 yr old Mom, Estelle (aka Lilly) and we watched the whole America ’s Got
Talent show. It’s one of the few things my Mom is able to do now. She is blind in one eye and deaf in one
ear, but it didn’t stop her from enjoying the show.  For us, it [the SAMM concert] was one of those rare
opportunities to meet someone not only passionate about his work, but passionate about his life and
making it better for those around him.                                                Angela; San Antonio TX
"A self-described spinto tenor, Donald's voice is as rich and dark as Goulet's bass-baritone but has the
same power and dynamics as Puccini's brightest lyric tenors. With his versatile voice, he has also
explored genres outside of opera, having performed the deeply sentimental ballad "To Where You Are,"
where he hit a G2, as well as other pieces such as "Buongiorno Principessa" and "If Ever I Would Leave
You" that require a deep baritone range. On the other hand, he handles pop standards such as
"Unchained Melody" (with its famous sustained E5) with equal grace and agility. It would not be too bold to
